Its possible, but I don't think you'd be happy with it. It bolts in place of the 7afe that came in ST models (we didn't get the st in Canada.) To bolt it into your car you would need to get ahold of some 7af mounts, but like I said its not not a motor suited to the chassis. Not a whole lot of torque there, a 2nd gen 3sge would be happier in your car. You could always mod the crap out of it but that wouldn't make it a screamer. Post in the 'Rolla forum on how to work a 4AGZE, they'd be more helpful on that.
thanx for the info. just a thought, i was at a new shop at kennedy & ellesemere area "future auto performance" and the guy was trying to tell me that it was a good swap into my 5th, now i know better.
because all st's in the 5th generation series have the 4a-fe
the stock 5th generation st has a 4afe with 103hp and the 4agze has 120-135 hp and with mods it is capable of 220+ hp without major alterations to the car its self.
the 3sge would take major mods to mount.
is it a good idea?
yes but only if you have the 4afe.

hehehe.. I've seen that place, they got a white celica always parked outside at the front, and another red car.. I think it was a celica too.. how much did they tell you it would cost?
Future Auto Performance has 4AGZE's!!! I deal with this guy and he sends me customers all the time! Last time I went there, he was a pure Honda carrier! All he had was B16's, B18's, ZC's and H22's!
He wouldn't even answer my questions about toyota engines!! I don't think he knew what a 4AF was at the time! I guess I should ask him about some engine hook ups for my AE92

ST's got the 4afe while GT/GTS's got the 5SFE in N/A.
David, the S series blocks are all the same on the outside, the the 3SGE would bolt right up to the stock mounts. Wiring would be the only problem, but its not hard to find a properly cut harness and ECU for the 3SGE.

You fucking post whores! Why don't you just call eachother and do your homosexual thing on the phone! It's more intimate! Take this conversation off the board..
Where's Dickson when you need him! He only locks my posts!! How could you leave two of the biggest post whores all alone in a topic all by themselves!
