Headlight replacement advice

The lowbeams on my '88 Celica GT are a joke. I think the interior lights are brighter than the headlights. Anyway, with all the aftermarket replacements available I thought I'd ask for some opinions. Anyone willing to offer some advice based on what they've tried or seen? Thanks.

Canada Geez

Hey WetWille we seem to have the same issues.. I think mine are quite yellow.. however you should see stock grand cherokee lights - candles.. don't even light up the road - traded my truck for the Celica today actually.

I put Silverstar bulbs in the truck and that worked out well.. but I do not know if the bulbs on the celica are replaceable of if you have to replace the whole light.. if it is bulbs I will use the silverstars.

If it is the whole light search e-bay for replacements. there is a company selling glass housings you can put different bulbs in. They replace your sealed beam headlights with a composite housing. I have them in my 83 celica with new blue bulbs. It made all the difference in the world. much brighter now. I like them so much i bought a second set for the truck i had at the time.

Here is a link to ones like what i got.
