Question HELP!! What differential will swap in my 85 Celica??

I bought an 85 Celica ST and the Differential is froze up..

Here is the Data plate info.

C/TR A/TM 148 - YF 26 - T382 - T58

What can I use for a Differential to throw back in the car to make it drive again? I don't care about the ratio as much as this thing has to be able to move.

Can I use like a differential from a 1st gen Celica or late 70's early 80's Corolla??

Basically, what are my options..?? I need to get this thing driving again.

Thanks in advance

you can use a rear diff from the same year Supra. the ratio is slightly different, but it will power your car. i used one temporarily when i blew my diff in my '85 GT.

Well, I finally was able to pop out the old Differential Center Drop Out Chunk, as I was fighting the Stubborn Passangers side axle that refused to come out until I spent 5 minutes on it with a Slide Hammer.. . I know why It blew up now... No Gear oil...Well I learned a lesson.. Always check that fluid level along with all the other fluids...But I can't believe no one here knows if another Center Differential drop out chunk will swap right back into my car? Sooo.. I guess I will go experiment with the ones at the local wrecking yard to find out the hard way.. Thanks anyway guys..

I think the Supra's were all Independant axles and have a rear cover where mine is a solid axle with a chunk that comes out the front?? Unless you mean one from the Early Supra??

Thanks..

That looks a lot like mine with the exceptions of mine not having Disc's or LSD. I wouldn't pay that much for a whole rearend when I all I need is a Center part. Thanks though

OK, I managed to get the Center chunk from a 79 Celica GT to drop in to my 85 ST. So I am back in busness.. Just thought if this ever happens to anyone else they can find this post and know what will work if they are in a pinch.

Thanks
