hey guys. im racing in a really cheap class of dirt oval. im building a 1988 celica gt with a 3sfe. was wondering what the difference in the 3sge and the 3sfe were. also if it were possible to swap a 3sge. wondering what the power output is of both. i can do minor mods to the engine but has to stay pretty much stock. also is there any perf mods i can do to the 3sfe "besides turbos and stuff'.

What are you lookning for? HP or torque? The 3S-FE would be best if you want cheap. Same as the 5S-FE.

If you're racing, might as well go with the 3sge. If you have to keep it near stock then the 3sfe won't really even come near what you get from a 3sge stock.
