I'm I am putting a set of wrx rims on mine. They are powdercoated black for low maintance.
You should lower the front end if you are going to ride with different tires in the rear.
You know that your car is front wheel drive don't you???
It'll look goofy to do that with a front wheel drive vehicle
This is a picture of what is a good setup. AKA not my car. Found this somewhere.

Sounds like a good choice, how much will WRX rims cost you and what size are they?
I know my car is FWD but I think the gas mileage difference will be minimal (getting 29.5 MPG now). Even in the pic you posted, the rear tires and rims do NOT come clean with the rear fender.
Do you think I should put spacers on the rear wheels? If I go with spacers is it 100% that I must get longer studs? If I can do spacers, maybe I can get away with 17x8 all around.
I'm looking for suggestions, give me a few posts to read!
