part question?

I'm about to buy a 1990 celica and there's a part i want to replace but I can't figure out what it's called lol....it's the part between the hood and the front bumper, the thing with two bars or rungs going horizontally across the front...one of the rungs is broken and I want to replace it if I can, but I can't find the part since I don't have any clue what it's called (i really don't know much about cars ) i'd really appriciate it if anybody could tell me what it's called!!!

Only thing coming to mind to me is actually one piece but the other piece is attached to the hood. If it is plastic, black(in most cases) and below the hood and above the bumper that would be your grille.

oo thanks lol yea you're right, I looked up the grille for the 1990 on some parts website and it's the right thing thanks a lot!

lol...I called it "that thingy" on my Corolla at a body shop because it didn't connect in my head that the little plastic black piece would be called a grill. A grill is a big chrome thing on a 70's buick...but I guess it still applies.

lol yea that was pretty much my line of thought too...it had crossed my mind that it might be a grille, but i couldn't find any pictures on the internet showing that as the grille...now i just have to figure out where i can buy a new one! lol
