I have been meaning to ask this question..... After we turbo our 5sfe can we use E-85 (gasohol) in out cars????? I have been researching and the new fuel is a mixture of 85%ethanol and 15% petroleum.... Octane rating of 105. This is good right???????????

It could even run on it now but you have to convert it. Flextek advertizes a conversion kit for $300 and they also recommend THEIR "Lubricants" due to the corrosive by-products of using E85 ethanol fuel. As they explained the alcohol will break down ordinary oils. And the lubrication conversion kit is $125. And last but not least the vehicle must have MPI and either Delphi or Bosch injector connectors and a fuel pump that is resistant to alcohol.
