Gen5 Wiring Help

Hey im tryin to make a homemade flame kit for my exhaust and i need cant get the wiring right.

Is this right im trying it next?

Im going to run a positive off the batter to a possitive on my switch then negative from the battery to a negative on the switch.... The do i run the spark plug wire from the positive on the switch to the exhaust?
I think it makes sense the only thing im thinking about is if the spark plug positive wire is spliced on the positive on the switch is it always going to run juice threw it or will it turn off when i switch it to off? Do i need a ground wire or not ?

You'll need a few 10000 Volt to fire a spark plug. Also you'll need a pulsing signal, not a constant voltage. I suggest you stop before you fire everything in your car with high voltage.
