I think you are saying can you put a 4A-FE in a 90 celica GT... I'm not sure if you can, but why not just put a 3sgte, or a 5sfe in the celica gt. If you put a 5sfe you don't need a new harness or ecu or anything... just the engine.

Hmmm maybe he want the 5S-FE in his ST. You'll need everything: wiring harness, engine, engine mounts, tranny, axle, ECU. 4A-FE and 5S-FE are different series engine, they don't "drop in". So with all the cost for swapping a 130HP 5S-FE, you can do a 200HP 3S-GTE.

Sounds to me like he wants to put a 4A-fe into a Gt which has a 5S-FE! But why down grade. The 5S-FE in the GT is better than the 4A-FE in the st!!!

Pinneaple, your missing radiator and one of the most difficult things. The passenger side motor mount bracket relocation. You have to get the motor mount bracket from a gts or gt off the junkyard, cut your old one off the st, & get it welded on the same gt location. St - gt is to expensive for very little horsepower gains. Go 3sgte on the st like I did. You will lighter than a gt and faster than an alltrac

5S-FE are cheap. Many people selling after swap. Check the forsale section and local junkyard, japan import shop.
