Does anyone know if it's possible to install a turbo on my 83 celica gt 22re? If so, any other upgrades I can do?

yea you can turbo it but its very costly with having to find the turbo manifold ive seen alot of used kits off of the originals go for anywhere from 300-900 very rare.....

There was a turbo 22R-TE on some of the pickups in the late 80's, early 90's.
But it was designed for low down torque rather than high end.
Not a performance engine but you might be able to use its manifold and a better cam.

Or you can put a 20R head on a tall deck 22R block to raise the compression ratio (for non turb use).
