Im trying to find parts for my limited budget, but with no luck...

Don't touch it with limited budget. You need custom everything for the 4A-FE.

Ah. well i don't plan on going nuts until i have a real budget...

Does anyone know if there is a vv-t head that will bolt on to the 4A-FE?

Nop. 4A-GE head won't bolt on the 4A-FE head. I think one of the latest 4A-GE got VVti other then that it 1ZZ-FE. Totally different engine. Also you'll need the VVTi ECU to control it.
Find a complete 4A-FE with ECU and harness then swap it. You can keep your stock tranny if you want.
