Is anyone attempting to build the stock 4AFE motor?

Im trying to find parts for my limited budget, but with no luck...

Don't touch it with limited budget. You need custom everything for the 4A-FE.

Ah. well i don't plan on going nuts until i have a real budget...

Does anyone know if there is a vv-t head that will bolt on to the 4A-FE?

Nop. 4A-GE head won't bolt on the 4A-FE head. I think one of the latest 4A-GE got VVti other then that it 1ZZ-FE. Totally different engine. Also you'll need the VVTi ECU to control it.
Find a complete 4A-FE with ECU and harness then swap it. You can keep your stock tranny if you want.

What kind of wheels are those on your Celica? I've been browsing some, but it hard to find clean, decent five-spokes at a reasonable price...

Those are 7th gen Celica GTS 16 inch wheels. 16x6.5 39 offset
