Plz Help!!!!!!

hi ok so now i think i may just be in a spot of bother. I seem to have broken something off my car. its a small bracette like peice of metal. it came from behind the wheel arch at the front of the car and had a part number on it, but although i have looked on other sites i cant seem to find it anywhere. Could it be something important. Since it has come off i seem to have a loud constent rubbing noise coming from around the wheel area. if someone could help i would be really grateful as im totally lost on this one.

ummmm did you bend your fender? is the wheelwell rubbing against the tire? I am thinking you may have pulled off a fender brace (assuming you are talking about the front side of your fender) it would help knowing the year and model of your Celica as well. Look around your tire for anything against it or anything that appears to be rubbed by the tire in different postions.
