1986 car can still pass emission easily, this is why i like toyota so much

hehe...

i will replace the clutch on the car very soon... (in this week)

just wondering...
my car is running 2 SE engine
is the engine mount going to be the same as 3S GE?
b cox, i may do a engine swap if i can find a good 3S GE.

how much is a good 3S GE? also where can i find it

Lucky Star usually has them, theres a few other places in TO that might, check the Yellow Pages. Generally speaking all S series motors share the same block design and therefore the same mounts.

I just booked appointment for replacing clutch
hopefully, it will be done on Saturday

and my mechanic told me if i change the engine, i probably need the transmission... may be i will stay with 2 SE for a while .

Until i really save up enough, but the car is in good shape except some rust spot on the sunroof

This place in Markham has a USDM 3SGE out of a 4th gen GTS sitting on their garage floor, i think you'd be able to pick it up cheap, they also have a complete parts car minus the motor that they're giving away. The place is called Xtreme and their number is 905-738-6978, ask for Manny. You should consider it, since the labour to do a clutch will be saved, who knows it might have a good clutch attached.
