Question 2T supercharged!

hi, names lee.

buying a 2t Ke35 rolla coupe, as a project car for road and possibly track use, its had slight head work, weber, and a T50!

anyway im thinking about supercharging it and yeah thought id ask the advise of celica people as thats where the motor came from! lol

um yeah anyone got any comments or suggestions? the reason im thinking of super rather than turbo is so i dont have to do any internal work!

thanks! Lee

A supercharged engine requires ALL the same internal work that a turbo engine does.
The only difference is whether the compressor is driven by the exhaust stream (turbo) or by the crank (supercharger).

The 2T never came with a turbo or upercharger option.
The 3T-GTE came with a turbo, so it would make a much better choice.
The 3T-GTE fits anywhere a 2T fits with minor mods required to one of the engine mounts to allow for the turbo oil return line.

The following pages from my site might help you make your choice.
