Celica Buying Advice

Hi All.

Newbie here. From Walsall, England.

I am looking at buying a Japanese Import Celica however I cannot find much information on this car on the internet so I am hoping somebody from here can help me or point me in the correct direction.

The car I am looking at is a 1994 Celica GT ST202. I belive this is 2.0 with 180 bhp. Is this correct?

The car has just been imported into the UK from Japan so is not yet registered, I took the car out for a test drive but the engine would not rev above 3000rpm. could this be because the car has been sat around for the past two months?

What should I look for before buying this car. It is a really nice looking car, but I want to make sure it is a good car to buy.

Oh yeah, sillly question but is this model of celica FWD or RWD? I think this is 6th Generation, is that correct?

3sfe engine 128 hp, FWD (ST202, ST203)
3sge engine 173 hp. FWD (ST202)
3sgte engine 255 hp. AWD (turbocharged, ST205)
