electrical help!

I recent put in 2 10" sony subs and a sony amp...everything was fine until my car had 2 go 2 the shop for a day...needless to say i took out the subs and when my car came back i put the subs back in.....while we put the subs back in we fixed a antenna motor wire, they had been stripped and just left..we taped them together, but apparently they were supposed to b taped separately and then the next day my cars dome lights didnt come on, my headlights didnt work, and my thermostat didn't work.

we checked all the fuses and found the dome light fuse 2 b fried, we got new fuses and put a new one in for the dome lights and one for the gauges...plus by now a tailight had went out, so we replaced that one....

later on when i went 2 drive it my windows didnt roll down, ALL my gauges wouldnt work(tach, speedometer, thermostat and gas) and the worst thing was my transmission wouldnt shift! it wouldnt come out of 1st gear! (its auto btw) it would just keep reving up!

now we think that its the relays causing the problems but we can't figure out what each relay goes to...so if anyone can help me plz do!

when my toyota mark 2 started the same exect problem.
i took it to a electrician, who said all the wires were miss maped. and some were even done rong from rong place to rong end.
well, i got back my lights and odometer started working and egine ravs(raving was up and down too) but my transmission couldnt be repaird. the third gear wasnt there. i mean, the car woudl shift from one to second gear and second to fourth. always would skip the third gear but only if i put in the OD on.
i sold the car, cuz i tried everything, only a transmission change to manual couldve helped(atleast so i was told)

Facts that we do know:

1. Everything that isn't working is controlled by the electrical system...
2. It was working before you screwed with the electrical system.
3. You screwed around with the wiring.
4. Now it doesn't work.

Questions:

Q1. What did it go to the shop for?
Q2. Why would you leave your car at a shop that you felt you had to remove the Subs?

Solutions:

1. Undo everything you did prior to the car acting goofy.
2. Replace all the blown fuses and fusable links that are blown.

This will probably fix the problems, if something wasn't fried during the short circuit.

#1 rule: Cause no further harm.
#2 rule If you don't know what you are doing you probably shouldn't mess with it.
#3 rule Electrical tape is not good. use solder and shrink tubing.
#4 rule willy nilly connecting two wires and taping them together not knowing what they do is not a good idea.
