02 gt to gts swap? how much? how much work?

i am lookin at getting a celica, i want an 00-05 or w/e years that model was made (i'm not gonna try to act like i know what i'm talkin about w/ celica's i know how annoying it is when ppl do that w/ my Fiero)

but i just wanna get a celica GT manual and then swap in a modded GTS engine, i'm plannin on driving the stock GT for a while while i work on the GTS engine, what all is involved in this swap, is it reasonable? or should i just get the gts? i have the tools i have the time, i just wanna know if its worth it

Thanks,
Travis

not sure how much but its would be better and cheaper over all if you just buy the gts and buy a second engine and work on it and then just swap out the engines. the gt to gts swap would end up costing u the same if you were to just buy the gts

Just buy a gt-s, and mod it. If your looking to go turbo i hear the gt engine is better for that setup, also look into 00-01 as those 6speed gts's have a higher rev limiter (8350rpm) and apperantly are the fastest of this model.
