manual or automatic.

Automatic= dip stick
Manual= Big ass bolts on transmission you'll see them after you remove gravel guards.

and stick your finger in there.
You should feel the fluid at the same level as the hole.
If it's dry, add more fluid.
If it's wet, you are OK.
