You could start by swapping out that ractive intake back for the stock one, you'll probably get horse out of that.

wuts wrong with the ractive intake?? sure they're probably not the most reputable brand... but it's gotta be better than just the stock air box

Intake is a great start.... things you would want to look into next would be your exhaust system, get a custom bent 2.25" exhaust to a sport muffler.... If you dont mind spendin more money... you can even go for a header along with your exhaust, and that will help out even more....

After that , look into things like auto shift kits, etc

Overall, a large investment for performance on your car will be a loss, if you are looking for more pep and more top end pull on the highway...... Just stick with your intake.... Get a customer 2.25 exhaust witha muffler..... and enjoy your car....

and dont get your exhaust with crimp bends that are all ripply....

Have fun, exhaust your lookin around $260 ish muffler around $180 -to- $260 depending on what your gettin...

I header you are lookin around $700USD for an aftermarket,... you may be able to track down a J-spec GE header for alot cheaper...and those are nice....

shift kits and labour is gettin upwards of $800

good luck

Peace,

Oops!
sorry
I missed the budget part.

if you are tight on budget, you can do DIY cold air intake.
that won't cost you much

Actually, I am trying to do a cold air intake my my car too.

I am just worry about the intake will soak the snow or water.
I wanna use some pipes and make the intake go behind the front bumper. Am I am worrying too much ?

a little water and that wont hurt your car, the filter will do just that and filter, and the water wont make it that far.... just keep your filter really clean and in good shape....

in order to hydro lock a motor, your filter will have to be totaly submurged...... if you think that this may happen with the setup you do, then re desighn it.

If you remove your disk horns, dont have any A/C lines and dont have cruse controle over top your transmission.... you can rout a pipe all the way up infron of the rad, and in behind your bumper... use the cross beam under the rad to fasten the intake for stability.

Peace,

ignition coil upgrades. The stock coil is not very efficient on the lower rpms.
