2003 Celica GT

what all do i have to do to convert my 1zz to a 2zz is there a way that i can take off the head of the 2zz and bolt it onto the 1zz as well as the exhaust manifold etc. What parts can i take off the 2zz and put on the 1zz to enhance the 1zz if it is at all possible.

I'm sure it's just not the head.
2zz has higher CR, so internals could be different.
The question is why?
The best bang for $$ for 1ZZ is to turbo it.
There are many turbo kit that is proven to be reliable.

yes but beware of oil burning with the 1zz. 2zz is a comepletly different engine and honetly its not worth to swap it as u gain some top end but low end is still crap. Turbo for like 3-5Gs is the way to go for sure.

i heard its just better to sell the GT and get a GTS, if you want the GTS engine. because its just not worth the money and time to swap the two engines.

Lift plain and simple
6 speed manual and lift are delicius

Its quite hard to explain what it is exactly the feeling of what makes the GT-S that much better.
Aside from boosted performance its just this feeling XD go test drive a couple MANUAL GT-Ss and you will see

Automatic GT-S is Balls to the walls slow

It's a completely different motor, from start to finish. You can't do what you are asking...

I know that why I said im not a Mechanical expert but the GT-S six speed
Should work with your GT.

Since some crooked mechanics and dealers stick the GT 5 speed onto the GT-S
I see no reason why a 6 speed on your GT wouldnt work.

www.celicatech.com

would be your best bet to find celica moders that can give you a more accurate answer
as to what you can do to your celica

your best bet is 2 turbo your 1zz,and buy a performance head and pistons. Unless you got deep pockets. 7th Gen swaps have been tried and tried, not impossible just very costly.
