95 celica st(nology core amplifier and steering wheel vibrating need help on solution

iv e just installed a nology core amplifier. i see no difference in performance or feel any
difference but after installing the next day my rpm needle went out of commision. its jumping all around. can the nology component be the cause of it??? aand second going beyond the speed of 60 my steering wheel begins to wooble or vibrate. i have taken to the shopp for aligment and wheel balacing to a couple of different shops still the same. i bought new wheels and tires still the same. shop has checked the tierods no problems. took it to another shop and the front end is fine. what can be the cause of this????? i ve heard something about the rack and pinion???? i would appreciate anyone with some info. thanks
