UK more power please

i want more power i have a celica gt-r i belive it is the st183 engine it was manufactured in 1989 its a japanese import, can i put the turbo on it from the gt four engine? would it be complicated?

i'm open to other yuning suggstions....

not really, a turbo is a turbo, sometimes you have to fab pipes but other then that header to compresser, compresser to turbo, turbo to intercooler...blah blah blah

IIRC, your 3SGE has higher compression than 3SGTE.
You can put the turbo on but you shouldn't boost it as much as 3sgte.
Have you considered swapping the whole 3SGTE in?

St183 is the chassis code for your Celica.
As stated above, 3SGE is your engine code.
You should be able to bolt the manifold and turbo on, just make sure you get one from a ST185 [90-93 GT4] or a early [90-93] MKII MR2.

SW20 is the chassis number for the mr2, before 90 it was AW11
