i found a old celica for 500, havnt gotten to drive it or pop the hood.. nor know the yr.. opss i could if looked at the door frame.. my bad... its at a car lot and i saw it when i drove by so i stoped and checked it out.. sadly its auto... but i love toyota and celica to much to car about tht...

If its auto its not turbo. The turbo Alltrac only came in manual. And if it doesn't say Alltrac its not turbo. Well, in North America at least.

so does tht mean only GT-S were turbo? and celica's were stock turbo AWD?

Nope, ST, GT and GTS are all FWD and non-turbo.

In the US, there are 4 trims on 4th (87-89) and 5th (90-93) geneneration Celica.
ST, GT, GT-S and Alltrac
Only Alltrac has AWD, stock turbo, and come in manual only
All others are FWD, NA, and come in both auto and manual.
