which engine mount is bad?

I got a bad vibration, its kinda there in any gear but mostly in drive but if i put it in reverse and give it some gas so the engine tilts the other way the vibration completly goes away... I dont know which mount is responsible since they seem to look good visual or maybe i'm just not seeing them from the right angle or missing one?

Putting it in reverse will make it move in the other direction, but it's the transmission that's doing it, its normal.

Most times it the front mount, down by the exhaust manifold/radiator.

You're best bet is to replace them all at this stage because if one is gone, the rest are going !

I had the same problem on my 89 Celica (A/T) and it turned out it was the bottom, rear motor mount way back in the back of the engine bay, underneath everything. I had the front mount replaced, also, which I htink helped with the vibration, but the side ones are fine and those usually stay in pretty good shape. I didn't replace them because of the cost and it turned out there wasn't a problem with any of them anyway. Check the lower, rear, motor mount, though, because it's the hardest to see and it's a very crucial mount. You can't even see it unless you jack the car up and really get underneath your engine.
