Unhappy Tranny problems, f^c& this sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

So I have been running my 93 mr2 tranny with my 2nd gen 3sgte in my 92 celica gts, up untill this weekend I was driving fine
but now when I try to put the car into gear it shakes the whole car. I'm struggling to put it into gear even. I topped up the tranny fluid it will go into the gears if I force it in and all of the gears are like that 1 through 5 & even reverse. If I step on the clutch I hear a rattling. Anyone experience anything like this. Keep in mind I've been driving this car for two months with no problems.

i dont think its the tranny, but the clutch. what type of clutch is it and how old. this sounds like what happened to me when my new clutch broke apart.

Sounds like your pressure plate and throw-out bearing aren't mating properly... chances are the fingers on the pressure plate are no longer true and the throw-out bearing can't push them in far enough to release the friction plate completely.

I'm leaning towards the pressure plate & throw out bearing as well, I wonder if I can drive on it like that, I might end up doing more damage to it.

when mine gave out i drove it for a week, you just have to time the rpm's with tranny speed. it takes some time but you'll get use to it. if you have it just right it'll go into gear with ease.
