Hey all...have a climate control question...first I know that when the AC light is blinking it means that usually in Toyota it means it senses a difference in speed from your compressor and engine RPM...I have that problem. It cools for about to seconds then the light starts blinking and it stops chilling. May try to retro fit with a kit to upgrade to new refrigerant and see if maybe the old freon is low and causing the problem. If that doesn't fix it may just scrap the whole ac and pick up a couple extra ponies and shed a few pounds.
New problem is on the air flow control...the fresh/recirc button.... when on recirc, you here the flap close and the LED lights steady. On setting it to fresh, you hear the vent open and the light comes on and then starts blinking...it used to stay on solid. Seems to be funtioning properly airflow wise. Wondering if anyone has seen or knows what this is indicating..not a big prob, just an annoying one.
