===1992 5sfe Celica Ecu Wiring

hey. i have a 1992 toyota celica gt-t. installed the 460cc injectors safc II blah blah balh.. anways. the tuning is not going well. when i do even a -1% correction with the safc the car like idles horrible. but i can do any positive % correction. but the correction %'s dont seem to affect a/f barely at all. Anyways. if anyone knows how to fix this specific problem. that'd be great.

i think it has to do with the wiring of the safc

I wired my safc II using directions for a 6th gen celica. THE WIRING HARNESS IS DIFFERENT. AND I KNOW THIS. that's why for the Tps i hooked the safc to the pink/blue wire.. works great. but okay here's the question. strait forward:

Does anyone have a 5sfe 1992 celica ecu wiring diagram? I wanna make sure i did it right.

or if someone has wired there SAFC II into a similar 5sfe Ecu.

Thanks.

DAn.

I know 460cc is a lot so at low throttle -50% at all rpms
at high throttle -40% at 800-2900rpm -38% at 3000, -39% at 3500-4000rpm, -40% above 4000rpm
this seams to work fine up tp 8psi for me.
Lo throttle is at 0% hi throttle is at 20%-25%. For a quick spooling turbo
Slow spooling hi throttle may need to be set at 40-100%

Thats my 2 cents

pressure 10in 8 out

I tried 1in 1out did not work.

probably need to turn the timing down or get a msdbtm

I turned doun the timing

Try this

As long as you can see throttle % change when you press the padel, it works. Unless you only see 0% and 100%.
The sensor IN and OUT apply to MAP/AMF/MAF sensor type. It got nothing to do with injector. Unless SAFC II got direct connection to injectors. The OUT should be the same as stock since you're using stock ECU. You'll need to play with IN to see which on works.
Tune it on a dyno unless you have a wideband O2 and datalogger.

check out this website http://www.celicatech.com/imagearchi...online/bgb.php. It has the factory service manuals to many Celicas and it got me out of a wiring jam back awhile ago.

Make sure you use 92/93 wiring.
The pre revision is different.
