Hey, Zali - that makes 2 of us... I picked up a cherry condition super white '92 GT convert a couple of weeks back. I don't particularly notice any "lag" in 1st gear (of course, I've been driving 4 cyl's most of my life...)....cars shifts very "firmly" to 2nd, but have read that many times about Celi automatics, so, could be perfectly normal......dunno. Just wonderin'...does yours have the oh so common "trunk edge bend" and "bolt pimple" ??? Thought mine was just a previous owner f/u until I've seen multiple posts/pics of same trunk issue (either side). I absolutely love this car (it replaced a "totalled" Olds 88 - no great loss...LOL ). My only beef is that someone stole the tonneau from the previous-previous owner....local stealership wants $1200 for a new one, so...am "shopping"

Everything mechanical/electrical on mine works, except for the dash light that tells you that cruise control is engaged (cc works, just no light....no biggie). Enjoy your GT convert while the weather's nice

I'm not to worried about because I haven't done the routine maintanence on the vehicle yet (only had it a couple days) and I figure the last person who owned it never did.
Anyway, any and all answers will be appreciated.
