Exclamation Remove/Install 93Celica starter? Help ASAP Please

Hello I am trying to work on the starter in my 93 Celica ST coup.

I see where the starter is located be hide the engine, under the intake manifold. From what I see there no easy way to get at it to remove and repair it. So I did a little poking around, I got under the car and saw that I also couldn’t access it from there either. As far as I can tell the only way to get at it is to remove the whole intake manifold, which for me work take a lot or work and likely more tools and know-how then I have.

I am hoping someone here knows an easier way to access the starter in a 93 Celica, or has a link for a how-to to remove it on a Celica. I have searched Google and haven’t found what I am looking for yet. Again I just need to know how to get at it and remove it.

Please help!

-Val

It's actually pretty simple.
That crossmember is easy to remove. The bolts and nuts are on tight though.
There might be a 14mm bolt in the center as well, possibly under a rubber cap.

Go to www.Celicatech.com, go to the Navigate bar on the right, find the BGBs online, and look up V 1 for a 93 Celica.
You have to be a member to view, but it's free and all, just like this site.
