Only 2 scary things....
One is the rust around the windows. That can be VERY hard to get rid of.
The other is the electrical problem.
In older cars, this can be a real pita, if it's a "ghost" problem.

Other than that, it sounds pretty good.
The car looks nice in the pics.
Look at it in person and see....

the car looks very nice, considering how old it is
it's RWD, so it would be quite capable.
check it out and decide
could be a good project car I believe the 20R engine is a 2.2L I4, but with RWD, a bigger V engine could fit nicely, maybe

okay looked a the car but the guy upped the price as i was looking at it, and i didnt think it was worth what he wanted anyways. like you'd said alltracman78, rust and bad rust at that. you cant really see in the pic but it was half a** bondo'd over then painted. must have used toyota paint though cuz it matched really well. a waist of good paint if you ask me

so, i continue on always doing a craigslist search everyday for good toyotas. this is how i got my '87 celica gts, '88 corolla gts and '87 mr2. if you cant tell i love 80's toyota sports cars!

today i found this one.

is there such a thing as factory wide body?
would this make it more difficult to locat parts for the obviously damaged front?

thought id post anyways to see if anyone else might want to contact this guy maybe about parts or something..
