Air-Fuel install???

Ok, so in my last car(1987 Toyota Corolla FX-16) I had a nice set of Auto Meter gauges(Air-Fuel and Volt) that I wanted to transfer into my celica(1982 celica GT), the question I has was if it was impossible to intall an air-fuel gauge in a carbuerated engine, and if it isn't, how would I go about doing it, because I really don't want to have to pay to get it done. I would much rather do it myself. Any help I can get from you guys would be great, thanks much!

As long as there is an o2 sensor, you can. If not, you can add one.
