Gen5 1991 Celica.. stereo and clicking noise

I have a 1991 Toyota Celica GT. For some reason or another my stereo does not turn on. I think it may be a fuse problem and was wondering if someone can tell me what the fuse number is for the stereo. Thank you.

Secondly, When I accelerate while turning the front end of my car makes a clicking noise and it continues to click until the sterring wheel is straight, or I let off the gas. This noise is concerning me and think it may involve the axle. Anyone have familiarity with this issue. Thanks for the help.

As far as the clicking noise, my first guess would be cv joint.....just a guess...

first, the stereo fuse is in the driver's side kick panel, in the top row and middle column of the 9 fuses. according to my owner's manual, if the fuse was blown, you would also have no clock or cigarette lighter, so check those. if they aren't working, it's the fuse. if they are, replace the radio.

second, I would think it's the cv joint too, however, i had a grinding noise instead of a clicking noise. took it somewhere and found that a power steering fluid line had clogged, went away temporarily when the guy added power steering fluid, but then we replaced the hose. so check those too. but it could be something else too. usually my noise was only present under sharp, low-speed cornering, above 25 mph and with smoother turns, and was gone when the car was straightened out. so have that checked out too.

back to the radios, seems like the Toyota/fujitsu models used in these Celicas have problems, the tape player didn't work before I got it, but I was going to get a Pioneer for it anyway. the Pioneer's been in there for a year, no problems. good luck figuring all these problems out.
