need some help

first post here. i need some help. i drive a 97 ford probe 2.0 and i have a friend at work. he says he'll trade me his 91 celica 1.6 straight up. i need some specs on this car. it seems that it has 10xxxx thousand on the engine (a 4afe if im not mistaken) and 20xxxx on the body. well, i like the way the car looks and stuff. my probe has 86k on it and a strong motor. i want to make the swap. but i want to know a couple things first. 0-60 time? aftermarket support? upgradeability? base moddables (things that dont cost money)? and handling? common defects? it would be much appreciated if i could get a lil info about the car before i sink this car into it. what would a turbo run me for this car, and if possible, a jspec engine? thx in advance.

yes it's the 4A-FE you're talking about, stock it has 103 hp, compared to the 118 hp in your Probe. However, the 4A-FE has more aftermarket, at least that's my bet, even though I don't see much for the 4A-FE, I haven't seen anything for the Probe. dunno prices or availability of 4A-FE turbo or superchargers (there was a Toyota 4A-GZE engine made for the 1st gen MR2, just has a different head and a supercharger), but a 3S-GTE (2.0L Turbo from the alltrac/ST185) runs around $1500 I think. your choice, the Celica is tuneable though. other threads on here talk of problems others have had, take a look yourself.
