2000 Celica GT Performance Parts

I just recently purchased a used 2000 celica gt, keep in mind not a GT-s. I'm gonna throw some performance in it, and I'd just like to hear what you people have in mind being celica-freaks and all.

It's a 1.8 5 spd manual.

First thing i'm doing is getting a full cat-back exhaust with a high performance cat, a short ram intake and a shortshifter.

Any other suggestions are welcome as I am relatively new to the Celica scene.

Thanks.

Awesome bro! I just bought my 2000 GT 2 months ago. I'd like to add some performance parts as well to mine. Letme know how those go for you.

you guys should check out www.newcelica.org if you haven't already.

they have a bunch of threads on performance parts for the celi plus a lot of people selling turbo kits and etc. in their classifieds. good luck to you both.

You should get the Hotshot header. It's been dynoed and proven to make decent gains.

Good suggestion. The hotshot header is probably going to give the single best gains out of any mod other than turbo.

I have a 2000 GT also, but its a DD and auto. Either way, a nice cat-back system, decent CAI, Lightweight wheels and some suspension work should make it a nice little performer.
