Question Adding Power Windows to a '97

Anybody ever try to add factory power windows to a Celica that didn't come with power windows? My brother is trying to add them to his. He bought a couple doors with everything inside from a junk yard. I haven't actually looked at it, but he said when he wired it up, it wouldn't work. He said it appeared to have all the necessary wiring & connections, just wouldn't work. Any ideas?
Thanks

Be sure you have hooked up all the power wires to the master window switch. The switch gets power from both Gauge and Power fuses. As this car did not come with power windows, check to make sure it has these fuses and they are powered. Check past TN post on this subject as others have been this route.

Cool, thanks for the reply. I looked around before I posted and didn't really come up with anything useful. The only thing I could think of was the possible fuse issue, other than that, as long as the wiring is hooked up properly, seems like it should work fine.

The passenger window has two circuits, one for the driver’s control of this window, the other for the switch on the passenger’s door. If neither switch works, it would seem to be a power problem. Get out a voltmeter and see if you have power coming out of the drivers master control switch.
