I don't wanna lower it yet, cuz I go to U of Waterloo and its in the snow belt - I don't want to be the neighbourhood Mr. Plow. I am drooling over the TRD Sportivo kit though, its the same suspension they used in the Pro Celebrity races in Cali.
I was thinking the normal intake/exhaust for now, but parts for my car are so damn expensive!
I don't really suggest getting intake/exhaust since those will make you lose low-end torque. It's espeically important in the Celica with a high-rev engine.
If you don't want to lower your car, get the Sportivo kit and sell the springs. I'm sure the shocks and swaybars will do heck of a job to the car's handling.
Oh, since more suspension parts are available, get all strut bars, tie bars, etc! I think those will really stiffen the car!
I'm telling you to get those because I fell in love with my new suspension, I just love how the car handles so well right now.
Incorrect, you *will* lose low-end. Trust me, I feel it with my CAI. But all in all, so what if you lose low-end? When was the last time you were racing between 2000-4000 RPMs anyway? If you are, no wonder you're losing.

I had a CAI on my TEG and when i went to the dyno with the stock box i had 210hp at 4000rpm and with the cai i had 214. at 2000rpm i had 101 with box and 97 with cai. that is a little loss for a gained top end.And a lesson i learnt donot use NO2 before 4000rpm in first gear...BOOOOOOM

Yeah I realize I'll lose some low end, but it doesn't really matter to me.
Gruven, on a side note, I'd like to know more about the HID conversion you have. How much did it cost you?
The HID kit runs for approx. $500US. I got it from Visual Dynamics. Check out http://www.visualdynamics.ca for more details. Get a hold of Trevor, he's who hooked me up, and he'll treat you well.
It's a Phillips HID Conversion kit supplied by Visual Dynamics. Overall the install of the kit was a bit time consuming considering I was the first one they tested the H7 kit on. It took a bit of 'custom' fabricating to make sure that the bulb sat in the housing properly.
But after the install, it looks great! Beam pattern is similar to stock, however MUCH brighter as expected.
Check out the following pics for the before and after shots:

how much more luminescent are they? it may be a dumb question but are they comparable to driving with your high beams on? do they light up just as much as your original high beams ?

You can't so much as compare them to driving with your highbeams because the beam pattern would be different and they cover a different area than the lowbeams would. But as far as brightness goes, it's MUCH brighter than highbeams. Highbeams look bright because they're basically aimed at your face when you look at them. Plus, the light produced is a much cleaner white than the conventional light. The clean white is what those "imitation" HID Xenon bulbs try to produce. The problem with those is that in order for the light to be as white, a bluish film has to be placed onto the bulb's surface to filter out the blue. Now, by putting *anything* on top of the bulb's surface, no matter how translucent it is, you're blocking light from coming through. That's why those Xenon lights are dimmer than your conventional lights. Just run a comparison between the standard lights and say, PIAA's. You'll see that the light area produced by PIAA's are, although cleaner and whiter, is much smaller than the conventional lights.
Just some food for thought..

I used to be a CS major but now I think I'm gonna be OR with CS minor or Mathematical Sciences... I'm in school right now. Exams are done on the 10th and I'm done on the 9th. Moving back to TO shortly.
Where do you work? I start work on the 20th back at BCE Place.
