Celica Supra Tranny swap???

As of right now we have my great-grandmothers 1984-85 (not sure) Celica Supra..it's not in our name yet but since she can't drive it (to old) she's letting us take care of it..well...hopefully she decides to let us just put the car in our name..it's like brand new with barely 100k miles on it and original paint with just a little fade (it was red so it's kind of a faded orange-red now) there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with this car..however..I want to turn it into a project and the first thing I want to do is take out the auto and swap a manual..anyone have any idea on how much that might cost me or what I would need to do before hand? Any help is apreciated!

You need the following from a manual car:
- flywheel
- W55/56/57/58 gearbox and bellhousing from behind a 5M/6M/7M engine
- clutch presure plate and disc
- clutch slave cylinder, hydraulic line, master cylinder
- clutch fork (inside bellhousing)
- pedal brakcet box (about 1 foot wide)
- clutch pedal
- console and boot to match gearstick

The auto has an electrical interlock that only allows starting in N or P.
Join the 2 wires together that hang under the car near the gearbox.

The speedo drive must be matched to you diff ratio.
If the donor car has a different diff ratio then your speedo will be out.

The W55/56/57/58 are interchangeable - just the ratios differed.
The W55/etc from any Toyota of the period will work.
The bellhosuing must come from a M series engine (5/6/7M) that had a W55/56/57/58 gearbox (ie bellhousing and gearbox can come from different cars).
In practice, this means a bellhousing from a Cressida, Crown or Supra from the mid 80's.
The older W50 (1970 to 1981) is not interchangeble with these.
