Japan Fastest Celica motor

Hey whast up its ken. I was wondering what is the fastest celica motor built what year, hp tq and any othe specs. I dont want to know the AWD ones. Im doing and engine swap. Please help thanks

erm... the fastest celica engines are the ones that come in the awd celicas... they work fine on fwd celicas... fastest one is the 3sgte from 94-99 GT-4:
251hp@6000 RPM
225lbs/ft@4000 RPM

but if you don't want the awd one.. i think it's the BEAMS 3sge redtop from 98-99 SS-III:
197hp@7000 RPM
152lbs/ft@6000 RPM

If you use the AWD transmission they work fine. If you use the FWD transmission. The starter gets in the way of the turbo and manifold. So it needs modified.

no it doesn't you use the starter that comes with the tranny. If you have a celica your fwd tranny will work with the motor & you can use the starter that came with the tranny
