Just guessing here. When you turn on the A/C, an idle up solenoid is energized. This seems to control the idle air control valve, kicking up the idle. The solenoid may be defective or the A/C amplifier (if it has one). The air control valve system appears to use vacuum hoses, check for leaks or damaged hoses. The idle up solenoid might be in the engine compartment, look for something with vacuum hoses and 12v wires going to it.

Not sure what you are referring to on the smoke machine. Are you trying to see if the leak draws in the smoke? Some folks use a flammable gas such as propane (small propane torch). The idle will pick up when the gas is ingested. Guessing the 12V DC solenoid has problems, does not turn on, stuck, etc.

the smoke machine produces smoke and you put into one of your inlets and start the car and if theres a leak smoke will come out ... but anyway yeah ill try the propane thing, and where would the solenoid be located?

Just guessing it might be bolted to the firewire, engine side. Look for a hose running to the air idle control module. This is just a guess.
