4AFE Megasquirt ???s

Hey guys. First off I'm new to this forum but I've driven a '91 Celica ST for years (188k miles) and love the piss out of it. In fact I want to keep driving it for a few more years and then hand it off to my oldest son when he get's old enough. Recently though I've been thinking about modding it, not for HP but for fuel economy. I've done some research (i.e. lots of late nights going cross-eyed on Google) and I have some ideas but would like to know if anybody has done this before. I was thinking a Megasquirt II, ported head with .5mm shaved off, ported manifold, header and new exhaust, cold air intake, lightened flywheel. I want to keep the same drivability as it has now, just use less gas to get it. What do you think?
