Greasy fog on windshield

Any and all suggestions appreciated! I think it's my heater core - at least that's what it was on my '84VW GTI. However, I'm getting a greasy fog developing on the inside of my windshield. Do folks think that's most likely a leaking heater core, or should I also be looking elsewhere? I just had a ton of A/C work done, so hope that's not the problem, but I'll check out whatever is recommended. Thanks.

I ain't no expert, but.... heater core is most likely culprit (had that problem on 2 previous cars, a Skyhawk, and a Tempo). Good luck....and get it fixed - that stuff smells up the interior
