90-93 is 5th gen. In North America anyway.

You got a 1.6L 4A-FE in the ST. Any A-Series will "drop-in". 4A-GE, 4A-GZE, 7A-FE, 5A-FE.
Fastest is Formula Atlantic 4A-GE 240HP. I think someone was selling one for $30000 a while ago.
There are a few different normal 4A-GE you can pick. Do a search here and on internet.
4A-GZE is the supercharged one with 170HP.

All the 4A-GE/GZE swap will require ECU and wiring harness. The 1.8L 7A-FE with 120HP is a real drop-in which don't need ECU.

5A-FE is 1.5L 90HP. Don't think you'll like that.

Cheapest way is find a turbo and manifold. You'll be boosting in a day. You can then upgrade as you go along.
