Brake assembly(6th to 5th gen)

does anyone know if the front and rear brake assembly from a 6th gen fit a 5th gen? Anyone try this yet? Better braking power is a must!

On a side note.....just to put some perspective on the subject, does anybody know if the 6g brakes are in fact better than 5g, or just,,,,newer ??? I have 4 wheel discs on my '92 GT and I find them to be outstanding, in terms of power and modulation. Dunno what you expect from a "sporty" car....a Porsche, it ain't )....but we still love the /celi

90-91 have smaller rotor then 92-93. I believe after that its the same size till 99.
Unless you get the brake from an AllTrac/GT4. They're bigger with 2 pistons.
Get some good pads and you'll see the different.

well my friends, the brake rotors from a sixth gen are an easy half inch bigger. I have the 6th gen and I eye balled the rotors and compared to my 5th gen, its a lot bigger. Braking is o.k. on my 5th gen but I want to get more serious doing canyon runs. I just want something that will brake faster and not pay a grand for it. I know willwood and rocketer sell brake systems but I don't have that type of money. I will take out both hubs and compare them to see if the swap is possible. I read it is but I will keep you guys posted.
