Ok, I am kind of new to the Toyota tuning experience, but I am all for it. I just need some tire know how here, because I am sure you all went through it at one point in time. What is the biggest rim offset you can go on the 93 gts? What tires would be best? Please let me know if you have any information, because my stock rims and nitto tires just aren't sticky enough, and I was thinking maybe an 18 inch rim with a 225 tire... Please if you have any info let me know.

I find a 225 tire on stock rims is just fine. The bigger the rimt he more rotating weight so bigger rims are necessarily good for performance.
So I take it you are running 225/35 or 45 on the stock rim? But can't the bigger rim mean possible damage to the axels? If so, do you know of any companies that sell highperformance axels for the 93 gts?

225/50R15 here but only on the odd weekend, they were the only size I could get toyo RA1's in at the time. They aren't that much different from the 215's that came stock.
I was gonna start a new topic on a similar subject but saw this one, so I figured I'll just throw my question out there too-
I have a '92 GTS with stock rims and Kumho tires. The tires are pretty much new, and I'd like to stick with them. However, I'd like new rims.
What numbers would I need to know? My friend said you can actually go an inch or so larger on the rims and still use the same tires... is that possible? I know nothing about the subject of rims guys... so help would be great.

I'm on a limited budget- I just want new rims.
No that's not possible. You need 15x6.5 or 7" rims. 5x114.3 bolt pattern. Check out http://www.tirerack.com, it will sow you what fits.
Actually if the sidewall is big enough you can "stretch the rubber." I take it your tires are 215/55r15's? Because that is what I had on my car and with those tires you can actually stretch those to fit on a 7 inch rim as apposed to the 6 1/2 that are currently on there. It is possible and it does give you a bigger contact patch. That's all I know.
