Celica GTS q's. plz look

ok, I think I've decided on the celica. I deffinetly want a GTS. what are some of your reviews on this? anyone? I have read reviews and they are good, saying that the car is especially good for the enthusiast, like not a old grandma style of driving, but weaving in and out on the highway, taking off fast from stop lights, into shifting quick, and enjoying the racing style of driving by shifting over automatic. I will be getting the manual when I get one for sure. I want a car that I can have fun driving, I can cruise, and hold my own with punk 16 year olds(and old dudes too) on the road.

5th or 6th gen with a few motor mods and a better clutch will hold it own as well.

WHen i say motor mods i am talking more in depth than cold air and exhaust such as cams or TRD supercharger things of that nature

haha i dont see a specific question really... but if you wana get a punch off the line... this is not your car. its got like 10mp lbs for tq then the gt celica.. the gts is more of a highway puller then a stoplight launcher if you ask me.

Yup. The 2ZZ in the GT-S doesn't have much guts down low. It's rated at 180 hp and 133 ft-lb but those numbers are after the lift kicks in at ~6800 RPM. It's a great handling car for FWD, reliable, easy on the gas and a damn good looking car but it's not a drag car. It's a fun car especially at the track/autox but it's not going to win too many quarter mile contests.

I got 1990 celica for my daily driving and it pulls quite OK.... but like everyone said, it's not fast car ... it's all depend on your budget and what you consider as fast ...heck I don't even consider my G35 coupe fast at all...
