I just got this car for the winter (go figure it's a convertible), and it's got some serious hesitation problems! I've noticed that it only spits and sputters when starting from a stop and if it's under about 3/4 throttle and/or lower rpms.

i've allready replaced cap, rotor, plugs, and wires!

any ideas??? fuel problem maybe???

Replace coil.

Have you replaced your coil? Did it fix the problem? Did you have a weak spark with no load prior to installing all these new parts?

yea, i replaced the coil as well...

i'll figure it out one of these days when i get a couple extra seconds to play around with it! probably has a clogged fuel filter or something stupid! just figured i'd post something about it in case it was a common problem i didn't know about w/ that gen celica.
