The U-Joint on the sttering shaft seizes up (in all cars) and makes the steering stiff, might want to check that.

Thanks, I'll ask my mechanic to check that. I bought this car used like a week ago and it already drives like this.... the reason why I purchased this car is because I like the driving position.

If you have driven BMW, 350Z or G35, you would notice that their steering wheel are heavier than Lexus/Toyota (minus Supra, never driven one so I can't comment) ... however, my current steering wheel in my celica is very very very very heavy and make me like driving Lexus/Toyota in my G35 coupe maybe Worse! (no offense whatsoever, it's just the fact).

My 90 celica steering wheel is very heavy thus I'm curios if it comes with power steering wheel at all....
I just use BMW, 350Z, and G35 as a reference of what 'heavy' steering wheel should feel like .... however, with my current celica, those 3 cars steering wheel feel very very light (yes, these 3 cars steering wheel feel exteremly light in comparison)... thus it shows how heavy my celica's steering wheel is....
I use Lexus/ Toyota in general as an example of what light steering wheel is, hope it make everything clear...
Edit- tank already suggested me to check my U-joint on my steering shaft so that what I'm gonna do later
Edit- I can't remember the word 'power steering' yesterday thus I kept saying 'steering wheel'....
Luxuray car usually have lighter steering. Sport car have heavier. Its great that you compare the Celica to G35 but its in a totally different class.
I guess you get me wrong ... I don't compare it with my g35 or I would ever compare both of them, I am just curious why my celica's steering wheel is so heavy ... I guess my initial question was not clear at all .... let me revise my question to:
Does celica have any power steering at all? because It's very hard (almost impossible)to turn my steering wheel when I'm at stop/ not moving.
Most celicas do have power steering. If it's hard to turn the wheel you should check under the hood and make sure all belts are in good condition and indeed do turn the power steering pump. Your car may need a new power steering pump. Having a new pump will improve your EASE OF TURNING. In no way would it make your steering wheel lighter, haha.

Ya, that what I initially thought... that this celica should come up with power steering ...but having this problem, I started to doubt if it actually came up with any power steering at all...
My G35 is currently in a shop thus this celica is my only trasnportation for now.... I'll ask somebody to check and fix it in about 2 weeks (that when I can take my G35)....
I guess I have a problem with 'wording'
