taking apart a power antenna

I have a 1992 celica and the power antenna no longer extend to the end. Somehow the antenna gets stuck.....I want to take it apart and see what is the problem.....I know that the antenna is really delicate and therefore, I want to know the correct way to take the antenna apart this way I won't break anything....if anyone can provide me with word instructions or even a link that would be much appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to help me out.

The cable operating the antenna may have a problem, or the antenna sections damaged. If this setup is like the Camry, there is a single small nut in the center of the plastic case cover opposite the motor. Remove the nut and the cover to allow access to the cable reel

just fix it and leave the antenna up. my grandfather removed the fuse that automatically raised and lowered the antenna before I got mine, and my dad did the same thing in his 1984 Celica. I think there is a single small nut, but I can't remember either.
