JDM 3SGE Engine fires but doesn't run

I have recently installed a replacement JSM 3SGE (1988 Celica/Camry?)) engine in my 1986 Celica GTS. The JDM engine does not have an EGR valve and I have bypassed the vacuum hoses to the charcoal cannister etc but I believe I still have a vacuum leak that is preventing the car from idling and running longer than a few seconds on the cold start injector. Does anyone know where the vacuum line that comes out of the front of the throttlebody (single vacuum port) runs to on a JDM engine?

..Any other ideas on possible problems?

I have fuel to the fuel rail, changed out the distributor and coil-getting spark..service engine light on dash lights up...I tried to do a diagnostic but I think battery was too discharged..

a weak fuel pump may cause those symptoms. First, give your battery a full charge.

if the car is only running for a few seconds, sounds like it's not geting the maf signal to the ecu. a vacuum leak wouldn't stop the engine from running altough very rough...

a big enough vacuum leak can cause the engine to start and then die, that happened to me went the two vac line going to the power steering came off.
