Headlight Motor or Relay?

Last year I was driving my 91 Celica through a ice storm in Chicago, it was getting dark, ice covered the front of my car, one headlight piped up, the other did not.
I chipped off the ice, the other headlight popped up. It went back down when I shut the car off.
The next day, it did not come back up, I manually crancked it up and have been driving it like this.
Do you guys think it is the motor or the relay?

Is it hard to replace the motor?

Does anyone have one for sale? Drivers side 91 Celica.

peace

Well the only way to test that would be to use a volt meter and check the voltage at the motor. If you are getting 12 volts thru the motor then it's more that likely the relay.

Well, if your getting 12 volts through the motor, then your relay is fine, the motor is fried. Power and the switch runs through the relay. If the relay was fried, your other headlight wont come up either, there on a shared link.
